Horse a Day 1

So, here I am, not dead. Hello my friends. If planned to do some Christmas gifts, but I never got around to that... so I'm sorry, but happy belated Christmas and various other holidays.

Anyways, about this. I have a daily calendar (one of those ones where every day is a single paper and you move the old one to the back to get to the next page) and this daily calendar is horse themed. I plan to draw one horse from the corresponding day for every day this year. It's a big task, but I hope to do it and succeed unlike the past failed attempts at Inktober.... The purpose of this challenge is to a) learn to accurately draw from a reference photo and b) to eventually be able to draw horses completely free hand. Also to have fun of course and to draw every day. Anyone can do this challenge, and I am by far not the first to do something like this. It can be any animal or thing you like, it doesn't have to be horses.

So yeah, day one. January 1st. I don't know as though I actually will post every day on here, so check my instagram (I will post an update with the username and/or link sometime this week).
